An incredible performance from R1 WURKS team driver Davey Batta at the 2025 IFMAR 1/10th Electric Off-Road World Championships, competing in the Modified 2WD Buggy class.
Throughout qualifying, Davey delivered consistent, fast runs that secured him P4 on the starting grid. After a tense series of triple A-Mains, his determination paid off—earning a 2nd place finish against the world’s best drivers.
This result underscores both Davey’s racing skill and the performance of R1 WURKS electronics and motors under world-class pressure.
Congratulations also go out to Broc Champlin (ROAR/USA teammate) on capturing the win—proving the strength of U.S. drivers on the global stage.
We can’t wait to see how Davey performs in the upcoming 4WD portion of the event. Stay tuned as Team R1 WURKS continues to push the limits of RC racing technology.
