Anodized Titanium Care
Anodized titanium can develop temporary discoloration or changes in appearance from normal handling. Skin oils, fingerprints, dirt, and other contaminants can build up on the surface and make the anodized color appear dull, uneven, or different from its original appearance.
In many cases, the original color can be restored with a simple cleaning. Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and gently wipe the titanium surface to remove oils and contaminants. Allow the part to air dry completely or wipe it with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
Important: Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing compounds, steel wool, or aggressive scrubbing, as these can damage or alter the anodized finish.
With proper cleaning and handling, your titanium part can maintain its original anodized appearance for a long time.
NOTE:
The fit of plastic ball cups can vary due to moisture content in the plastic and manufacturing differences between batches. As a result, you might find the fit to be slightly tight. If this happens, you can gently pinch the installed ball cup at several points around its circumference until the desired looseness is achieved. This process may need to be repeated periodically.
